Surviving and thriving in the Vail Valley can seem harder than summiting Everest (or a local 14er). Feeling a little lost, befuddled, or downright discombobulated when it comes to how to make it in this mountain town mecca? You’re not alone!
Join Mountain Careers and the Vail Valley Partnership for two Stay Local Socials on Oct. 7 and 21, both at long-time local watering hole Loaded Joe’s in Avon. We’re giving away cash ($500 at each event – no strings attached!) and the first drink is on us, with Happy Hour pricing all evening (5:30 – 7 p.m.). Come as you are for a chill, uplifting evening of connecting.
Why are we doing this? Because we’ve been there, too – wide-eyed, excited, and a little unsure of where to turn when you’re still kind of new in town. You may need advice on landing a full-time job, securing affordable housing, or finding your tribe. We’ll have local insiders making the rounds all evening, wearing nametags that say, “Guide: Ask me how to stay local.” Guides will include Mountain Careers and VVP staff, as well as housing representatives and local HR professionals
