The Mountain Village Cortina development consists of 12 luxury condominium units (Villas at Cortina) which are surrounded by 22 single-family home lots. There are two HOAs, one for the overall development (land HOA) and one for the 12 condos (Villas HOA).

Position Summary: The position is responsible for the management and support of both of the Villas’ HOAs, providing property management, club attendant/valet services to the Villas, along with providing property inspection service and property rental support for units managed by Telluride Alpine Lodging (TAL).  The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys managing a wide variety of tasks, but will often step in and get their hands dirty when the job requires. He or she takes pride in the property, enjoys taking on a wide variety of tasks, and has excellent management and customer service skills.

Essential Responsibilities:
Villas Duties

  • Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is performed on the Villas vehicle and is kept neat and clean.
  • Coordinate major repairs and preventative maintenance (work that is outside the scope of TM) with preferred vendors. This includes but is not limited to elevator maintenance, HVAC/Boiler maintenance, fire alarm inspections.
  • Coordinate and obtain quotes for major capital expenditures.
  • Work closely with the HOA board and TAL to develop annual budgets and track monthly expenditures to budget. 
  • Schedule quarterly HOA meetings generate property reports

Land HOA Duties

  • Schedule quarterly HOA meetings and property reports.
  • Work with the HOA to develop annual budgets.
  • Provide communication assistance during new home development projects between the developer, HOA, and the town of MV. 
  • Monitor the property for any non-compliance. Illegally parked vehicles, vandalism, and pet violations should be reported to the HOA or directly to MV police.

Property Management and Owner/Guest Services

  • Perform a daily common area property walk and pre-arrival inspections using a multipoint checklist to ensure consistency. A copy of the daily checklist will be filed, any issues noted, and initiate corrective actions for said issues.
  • Report any issues to housekeeping or Telluride Maintenance (TM). Small, or time-sensitive issues, will be handled by the PM (i.e. changing a light bulb, spot cleaning, sweeping snow off steps, etc.)
  • Provide transportation services to Villas owners, their guests, and rental guests (a clean driving record is required). Transportation services are offered in Mountain Village and the Town of Telluride. Occasional MTJ airport drop-offs and pick-ups will be required and may require extended hours. Compensation for the extra hours will be provided.
  • Maintain a clean and neat lounge, stock and replenish the beverages area, set up afternoon snacks on occasion. Responsible for ordering and stocking all food and beverage supplies.
  • Manage the part-time employee including their schedule, payroll and time off approval, etc.
  • Review and approve monthly owner statements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION: High School degree, college graduate or equivalent experience preferred
EXPERIENCE: At least one year of hospitality or customer service preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be proficient in MS Office; Outlook or Gmail email platforms. Must have a valid driver’s license
PREFERRED SKILLS: Attention to detail, polite, patient, ability to handle food safely
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, and lift/carry/push/pull 30 pounds

Compensation: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
