Project Manager

Unique opportunity to join a quickly growing business that serves the luxury home market as well as professional athletics and world renowned research institutes. Our industry leading altitude simulation systems are used globally, from private residences in the hills of Aspen, to Olympic training centers around the world and even in the Smithsonian in Washington DC.

This position will be based out of Edwards CO with installations performed in locations such as Aspen, Vail, Summit County, and Telluride, Colorado with occasional travel to other states. There is a potential for international travel as well.

We are looking for someone with project management experience, construction experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting) and some technical capability. Must have good organizational skills and be customer focused.

Project Managers serve a critical role at Altitude Control Technology. They are the face of the organization and are responsible for managing the installations of altitude simulation systems, as well as all coordination with the customer and other trades. They have a critical eye for details and can manage all stakeholders with professionalism regardless of challenges.

Duties

Manage Jobs from start to completion. This includes ensuring that the right equipment has been selected for installation and evaluating the feasibility of the job. Expectation setting is critical.
Perform hands on installation. Though we do have installers, you’ll still be asked to grab your tools and assist/lead installations.
Perform service/warranty work. You’ll need to be able to troubleshoot systems over the phone and travel to customer sites from time to time to fix any potential issues.
Update all company systems in a timely manner. We have a number of software applications we use to manage jobs, the Project Manager is responsible for keeping job statuses up to date.
Manage relationships with builders and other industry professionals.
Be a team player and pitch in wherever needed. We are a small but growing company and you need to be able to put your ego aside and help out when needed.
Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with a background in construction related project management. Proven leadership skills and management of a small team is a must. Knowing how to direct work and help the team and project success is the goal.
