Black Tie Ski Rentals in Vail/Beaver Creek is hiring Ski/Board Technicians to join our team as we gear up for our 17th winter season! The shop locations are in Avon & Lionshead Village & we like to be flexible with your schedule so you can live a balanced life in the mountains. We can accommodate a variety of schedules from Full Time, Part Time- & Peak-Time shifts.

Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver and fit customers with ski/snowboard equipment at customers’ lodging.
- Communicate and inform guests about Black Tie’s entire service so they know what to expect.
- Pack equipment for deliveries, load vans, and pickup equipment from guests on their final ski day.
- Perform slopeside equipment swaps (if necessary) and assist guests when needed.
- Inspect equipment upon return to determine tuning needs.
- Involvement in all equipment upkeep, including basic in-house tuning and maintenance.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on equipment.
- Act as a respectful and professional representative of Black Tie within the community when on the roads and when interacting with hotel staff and local partners.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of vehicles and manage vehicle inventory.
- Being proactive and taking ownership of situations while anticipating and responding to guests’ needs and wants.
- Having a team player, self-starting mentality and promoting these shared values alongside your fellow employees.
- Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty and the Office throughout shifts to ensure both the Tech’s individual delivery line-up, as well as collective team tasks, are being accomplished.
- Actively demonstrate a clear focus on safety for yourself, your co-workers and our guests, whether working with equipment and vehicles, or double-checking guest ski/boot fittings.
Requirements: - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the winter season.
- Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and a commitment to maintaining that during the Winter season.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for long periods of time (i.e. rental equipment).
- Must be able to stand and walk almost continually during your shift.
- Ski/Snowboard equipment experience is preferred but not required.
Shifts: - Shift Types: AM shift is from 7am-3pm. PM Shift is from 2pm-10pm.
