If so, Cardrona Alpine Resort Ltd has a thrilling opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee the maintenance operations at Cardrona and related locations.

ย As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the Cardrona Maintenance department. You’ll lead a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring the resorts operate efficiently to provide unforgettable experiences for our guests while maintaining safety. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, leadership, team management, and overseeing maintenance activities, including those related to lifts and assets.

 

About the roleย 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Review and optimise maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of maintenance management plans.
  • Provide strong leadership to the maintenance team, aligning with our values and safety culture.
  • Recruit, supervise, and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with various departments to efficiently allocate resources and skills.
  • Develop and execute a maintenance program for lifts, buildings, and generators.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure efficient management of maintenance budgets and expenditures.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols, compliance, and risk management.
    Participate in management meetings and provide regular reports on budget and operational performance

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Maintenance qualification and management experience.
  • Ski Area/Ropeways Specific Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Experience in ski area maintenance, vehicle, facility, and plant management (Preferred).
  • Proven leadership skills and effective people management experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license.
