Early Childhood Educator

Find your community in the heart of Vail at The Children’s Garden of Learning (CGL)! We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative four-day-a-week (32-36 hours) Early Childhood Teacher to join our team beginning in June.

CGL is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool that blends early learning with a deep love of nature, exploration, and community. We offer a supportive environment where teachers are empowered to create meaningful, curiosity-driven experiences for young children.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that support cognitive, social, and emotional growth
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Use effective behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful and engaging learning space
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
• Observe and document children’s learning, sharing progress with families
• Inspire creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning through hands-on, play-based activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with toddler and preschool-aged children (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of early childhood education best practices
• Skills in behavior guidance, classroom management, and child development
• A commitment to fostering a supportive, playful, and engaging learning environment
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but not required
