Summary Description:

The Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic growth opportunities in real estate & partnerships, plus the development of our corporate strategy and major cross-functional enterprise growth initiatives. This position offers a great opportunity to work closely with the leadership team and internal cross-functional stakeholders to assess and develop strategic opportunities that drive Christy Sports’ growth. You will be responsible for analysis, pro format, and modeling of M&A and real estate expansion, plus helping with M&A deal flow from inception to integration and value realization.

 

Essential Functions:

Lead all aspects of M&A and Real Estate deal analysis, including detailed financial statement analysis, valuation, scenario modeling, and pro forma development

Analyze and understand Christy Sports’ strategic objectives, as well as industry trends to identify, recommend and pursue companies that can meet those objectives

Support the prioritization of corporate strategic initiatives

Identify trends and markets, and recommend high-potential acquisitions and investments

Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams for integration, expansion, modeling & strategy development

Operationalize acquisition sourcing and handling processes to help the team scale

Manage document flow & process work for all acquisitions & real estate expansions, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letters of Intent, and Purchase Agreements

Conduct research on market trends, competitive landscape, reimbursement, and other indicators of business viability to inform organic and inorganic expansion opportunities

This position will be responsible for developing comprehensive presentations, financial models, valuation analyses, and ad hoc data analyses to facilitate the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions

Assist in various aspects of the deal as necessary: qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing & integration activities.

Requirements

Bachelors or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

CPA or CFA preferred

M&A transaction experience through relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, and/ or transaction advisory services

Strategic thinker with business acumen, good judgment, and common sense

Minimum of 5 – 7 years of corporate development, and competitive analysis

Minimum of 5 – 7 years of financial statement analysis

Robust analytical, financial, valuation, quantitative, and critical thinking skills

Demonstrated familiarity with corporate strategy models and processes

Adept with financial statement analysis, transaction deal levers in M&A and Real Estate, and a strategic thinker

Experience structuring various types of deal terms

Support all aspects of M&A deal execution including developing investment theses, sourcing actionable transactions, creating financial and valuation analyses, terms to be negotiated, and leading due diligence

Skilled in corporate valuation, risk management, financial modeling, and integration

Excellent judgment, mature personality, and experience working with executives

Demonstrated experience in constructing varied deal consideration structures and integration plans

Proactive and action-oriented anticipates needs

Demonstrated track record of consistent high-level achievement

Own the maintenance of existing industry transaction comps, trading comps, and benchmarking analyses

Lead regular updating and reporting of the Corporate Development Pipeline

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated analytical and data-led decision-making

The budgeted range starts at $90,000 – $130,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
