Position Summary: The Energy Concierge provides critical support to the day-to-day activities of the programs and services staff. This position provides timely and well-informed responses to customer/community inquiries regarding the Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE) programs. Internally, this position ensures timely and accurate program support for achieving effective and efficient operations, program delivery, and management. The Energy Concierge position requires exceptional organization and time management, problem-solving, teamwork, customer service, and the ability to anticipate needs when possible.

With direction from lateral staff or direct supervisor:
- Serve as an Energy Concierge to guide potential and existing participants through CORE’s programs.
- Use Salesforce, a project management system, email, and other tools to communicate and organize customer information.
- Proactively manage leads and existing participants by serving as their main point of contact.
- Prioritize needs to contact participants directly via phone and email.
- Provide participants with information on CORE’s programs and available rebates and grants to support energy improvements in their buildings.
- Schedule meetings, calls, or energy assessments between participants and other CORE’s on-staff energy advisors or contractors.
- Process incoming requests on Salesforce to submit outgoing requests to Finance to pay participants, contractors, and energy assessors for incentives and contracted work.
- Coordinate with building owners and operators to collect energy and water use data consent forms and energy and water use data files.
- Fieldwork and data entry work may be included.

- Preferred: Basic knowledge of energy use in buildings and how energy use in buildings contributes to community greenhouse gas emissions. Desire and ability to increase knowledge in these areas. Passion for these areas.

- Valid Colorado State Driver’s license and ability to be insured.

Language Ability: Read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies, or members of the business community. Write speeches and articles for publication.
Mathematical Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Salary and Benefits:
- Hiring range: $55,000-65,00 per year. Salaried, full-time/exempt.

- CORE’s office is in Pitkin County, which means that employees are eligible for the Aspen Pitkin County Housing Authority (APCHA) program, which includes rental housing for employees in Pitkin County independent of work history duration and for-purchase housing for employees in Pitkin County with a work history of four years or longer. Please note that both rental and for-purchase housing are highly competitive, and CORE is not able to guarantee housing for staff through APCHA or otherwise.
