JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners. The role involves coordinating promotional activities, organizing and attending events, analyzing market trends, and driving the company’s growth and expansion efforts.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Marketing & Business Development Manager will report directly to the Principals of DRS.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
– Develop marketing strategies/budgets and plans appropriate marketing campaigns to meet set business targets and track progress through quantifiable metrics.
– Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, mail inserts, flyers and promotional products.
– Maintain and promote social media accounts with the goal of local brand awareness
– Source advertising opportunities and place advertising in traditional and online media with a focus on local clientele, property managers, trades and realtors
– Develop, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with potential lead sources by cold-calling, scheduling, and attending regular client meetings and customer entertaining.
– Increase customer review capture
– Attend local events for marketing opportunities (Chamber, various local foundations, etc.
– Recruit qualified field employee candidates locally when needed
– Other duties assigned related to development of marketing and communication strategies
– Analyze industry trends and competitor activities within the mitigation industry and look for local marketing and employment opportunities creatively
– Participate in local networking events
– Present unique marketing and awareness events and opportunities as they arise, seek them out when needed
– Meet with Operations team weekly to ascertain their needs and track progress of new initiatives
– Some evening and weekend work required
