Economic Services (a division within the Department of Human Services) is responsible for administering a range of critical public assistance programs including Cash, Child Care, Emergency, Energy, Food and Medical Assistance, as well as connecting customers to other vital resources and supports.

In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining workflows, analyzing data, and fostering collaboration across DHS divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage data analysis skills to monitor and optimize core Economic Services workflow management systems.
- Identify and address workflow impediments to ensure timely and accurate program delivery.
- Generate comprehensive reports to provide leadership with real-time insights into program performance.
- Collaborate with Economic Services team members and DHS leadership to develop and implement process improvements.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for workflow efficiency gains.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of public assistance programs and relevant systems, including the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS).
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring respectful communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in administration, business, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum four years of experience working in public assistance or other eligibility programs.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong understanding of public assistance program rules and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and data tables.
- Bilingualism (English/Spanish) a strong plus.
