Accountant – Accounts Payable

Your Role in the Spotlight

• Accounts Payable Mastery: Process and review invoices across multiple entities with precision, ensuring everything is coded and authorized correctly.
• Vendor Relationship Guru: Build trust with vendors, manage payment schedules, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting.
• Reconciliation Rockstar: Reconcile vendor statements, verify payments, and dig deep to resolve account issues efficiently.
• Payment Processing Extraordinaire: Seamlessly generate and distribute payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers-always accurate and on time.

Location: In person at our office in Avon, Colorado

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $24-28/hour 

Schedule: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Minimum Requirements

• Education & Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience in accounts payable or accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (SL, Vantaca) and intermediate Excel skills, including experience with financial calculations.
• Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to present financial information in group settings and cross-train with team members, serving as a departmental leader.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
