Staff Accountant

100% in-office position in Winter Park, CO.

Long term Winter Park, Colorado real estate development and construction company is seeking an Accountant to perform monthly accounting and reporting for numerous business entities and construction projects. This position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the following: budgeting, project proformas, accounting and cash management functions, operating policy and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls, property tax and sales tax filings, and accounts payable entry.

The ideal candidate will be a degreed accountant with one to three years’ experience of full accounting responsibilities including the ability to meet monthly GAAP reporting requirements. Proficient in Sage 100 Contractor and QuickBooks accounting software, business software applications, management skills and good communication skills.
