Job Function/Purpose:
This position is responsible for the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs including training, performance reviews and development, benefits, compensation, recruiting, and employment law. 3-5 days/week as mutually agreed upon between the successful candidate and RA Nelson. Full benefits.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Administer HR resources, plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures in accordance with the strategic goals of the company.
- Coordinate all benefit enrollments and communicates with service providers concerning routine administration of programs and reconciliation of benefit invoices.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employees, including FMLA, EEO reporting and I-9 documentation; Colorado Affidavit conducts audits of various payroll, benefits and other HR practices and recommend any corrective action.
- Daily attendance is required (remote working is available).
- Assist in the hiring process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks and scheduling interviews as requested; assist with filling internship positions as needed.
- Assist in employee terminations and performs related functions such as processing terminations in payroll and benefit systems and answering state unemployment questionnaires.
- Administers entire performance review process by initiating 360 surveys, providing information and evaluation forms to supervisors for periodic reviews, assuring completeness of review process, etc.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the employee handbook.
- Prepare paperwork required for new hires and administers new hire orientation.
- Process personnel action forms for employee pay or status changes and assists with miscellaneous employee issues (loans/pay advances/vehicle purchase/immigration letters/work verifications).
- Responsible for company wellness program implementation and communication.
- Assist with company submittal for employment awards (Best Companies, VVP, etc).
- Set up and maintain employee standard forms and documents for companywide in HRIS and ShareFile.
Perform additional assignments as directed by Chief Financial Officer
