Overview and Impact:
We are currently conducting interviews for a seasonal camp host associate at our brand new outdoor facility near Mosca, CO. We offer competitive pay, on-site training, bonuses, and a beautiful place to call your home for the next 6 months. Our current positions are SEASONAL starting July 2024 and ending October 20, 2024.
The Camp Host will live onsite at the Ramble Great Sand Dunes for the duration of the season. Candidates MUST have a reliable Recreational vehicle to live in during the season. This position will work well for someone looking for seasonal work and enjoys being in nature and community.ย
If you have previous camp hosting, custodial, janitorial, hospitality or maintenance experience we want to hear from you. Candidates should be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds with frequent standing, walking, and physical activity.
Camp Host Responsibilities:
- Daily campsite and campground checks for clean and orderly conditions prior to guest arrival
- Occasional cleaning as needed
- Occasional groundskeeping/maintenance work
- Organizing utility sheds
- Evening campsite hospitality checks
- Responding to customer service tickets through Zendesk ( customer service software)ย
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Ramble Headquarters
- Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to run efficient field processes
- Observe all policies and safety procedures set forth by Ramble staff.
- Be prompt and reliable in reporting for work. Notify Ramble as soon as possible if you are unable to work.
- Wear the Ramble staff shirt or hat in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Use proper tools and equipment (provided) to safely perform duties.
- Maintain a professional campsite appearance.
- Option to stay on to assist with campground winterization starting October 20th, 2024.ย
Time Commitment
July 2024 through October 30th, 2024 with a week prior for training.ย
*Option to participate in campground winterization.
Scheduled Hoursย
- 1pm- 7pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- On call for customer/emergencies 8am- 12pm and 8pm- 10pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Must be able to work Labor Day Weekend
Qualifications
- Must be able to provide professional, welcoming, customer service.
- Self-motivated, able to self-manage
- Good, proactive communication skills with a great attitude
- Basic maintenance skills
- Ability to operate a golf cartย

Training, and Preparation:
- In-person and in-field training is provided by Ramble staff.

Camp Host isย provided with any tools/equipment needed to do their job (ex. shovel, trash bin, garden cart, gloves, uniform shirt, uniform hat)
Must pass a criminal and driving history review.
