Typical schedule: Five days a week, 34-40 hours per week. Due to the seasonal nature of the company, hours fluctuate throughout the year. Must be available to work during the Holiday season.

Second Nature Gourmet is a premier scratch-prepared catering company focusing on ingredient quality; using locally- and responsibly-sourced products. We offer full service event catering, private in home catering, and bi-weekly & holiday delivered foods. Fly Away Gourmet caters specifically to private aviation based out of the Vail Valley Jet Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily administrator duties to include

  • Monitoring Phones and Email throughout shift
  • Reply to any inquiries with professionalism
  • Throughout day keep the Master Production Calendar (MPC) up to date
    Daily Invoicing in QuickBooks Desktop for Fly Away Gourmet
  • Quote Building & Invoicing for catering with assistance from Chef & COO
  • Monitor SNG Online store orders; printing packing slips & add to MPC
  • Kitchen Prep Sheets for Delivery Days
  • Print delivery driver sheets on delivery days or add to ShipDay app.
  • Inputting Receipts into Expensify throughout the month for due date of 15th of each month
  • Shopping trips to City Market, Costco & Boones
  • Daily (multiple time per day during peak season) VVJC deliveries with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Photos of all airport deliveries checked in on ShipDay app.
  • Pass vendor exam for VVJC deliveries and carry badge when at airport at all times
  • Keep company vehicles filled with gas, washer fluid and in good working order. I.e. mention when oil change is needed
  • Delivery to Knapp Harvest Tuesday & Saturdays if scheduled to work on those days

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Quickbooks Desktop and Excel preferred but not required
  • Willingness to jump from task to task as business dictates, e.g. a last minute airport delivery during business hours.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be honest, conscientious, and courteous.
  • Punctual, reliable, dependable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including an approachable and friendly manner.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
