Groomers’ work consists of operating the snowcat on the mountain ski runs to maintain safe and fun skiing and boarding environment. Positions available include Groomer, Winch Cat Groomer, Lead Operator, and Shift Supervisor. There are two shifts available, swing shift (4p – 12a) and Graveyard Shift (12a – 830a).

Groomers’ Duties & Responsibilities:

Check assigned snowcat for mechanical defaults before and after the operation.
Perform basic maintenance including adding and checking fluids, replacing windshield wipers, etc.
Complete work orders on mechanical defaults found and submit to snowcat mechanics.
Build, maintain and groom ski runs.
Maintain ski lift ramps.
Attend all driver meetings and ensure projects addressed are completed.
Assist other departments with projects as needed.
Transport mountain freight to designated mountain lodges.
Operate snowcat on designated ski runs.
Operate any other equipment relevant to snow grooming.

Groomers Qualifications:

Demonstrate great attention to detail.
Must work well in a team environment.
Must be comfortable in high-stress situations and all types of weather events.
Previous Grooming experience preferred.
Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
