FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Hiring Range: $23.63 – $28.36

Job Summary: This position is an effective, accurate, and responsive resource for Accounts Payable services for vendors, internal departments, as well as the public. The role performs the following duties: Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and reconciliation of all Town of Eagle invoices and vendor accounts. Verifies accurate invoice coding in relation to general ledger account codes and annual budgets. Confirms invoices are processed for payment in accordance with Town financial policies. Provides outstanding customer support to both employees and vendors seeking information regarding invoice processing and/or reconciling. Manages and maintains accurate and well-organized Accounts Payable records/files. This position may be cross trained to assist with public meeting minutes and other finance-related tasks as a backup during breaks and absences.
Required Experience, Education and Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience in an accounts payable role
• 3-5 years’ experience using financial/accounting software packages
• Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Prior finance role in a government agency or other not-for-profit organization is preferred
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ability to telecommute 1 day weekly. May attend Town Council (2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6 p.m.), and various committee meetings that typically occur during regular business hours.
