The Eagle Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officer. 

 

Certified Entry Level Police Officer level pay:

  • $33.46/hour DOQ upon successful completion of FTO process.
  • Incentive for Spanish speaking skills
  • Incentive for certain certifications of training and/or education 

 

Certified Lateral Police Officer Hiring Range:

  • $33.46-$41.82/hour DOQ*
  • The maximum of the lateral pay range is $46.12/hour.  A hire rate over the hiring range may be considered based on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
    • Incentive for Spanish speaking skills
    • Incentive for certain certifications of training and/or education

*To be considered for hiring as a lateral police officer, you must be a full-time, sworn police officer who has completed a state-certified police academy, or you must have a valid POST (Peace Officer Standards & Training) certificate, and you are within the acceptable number of years per Colorado POST from the date of voluntary and re-hirable separation from your last police agency. Successfully served at least one year with a law enforcement agency. Applicants certified as a law enforcement officer in another state may be considered for this position who have been authorized to act as a peace officer in another state or federal jurisdiction with full arrest powers for at least the preceding three (3) years AND were employed in that capacity for at least one (1) of the three years.
