Our growing property management company is seeking a Director of Housekeeping with strong managerial skills to oversee our fully staffed and tenured housekeeping team. This role is responsible for the execution of all housekeeping operations at our various front desk properties as well as individual homes and condos. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail to continually improve the level of service provided to all guests and owners while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Responsibilities

Hire, retain and manage a team of efficient and high-quality housekeepers, ensuring all are trained, effective, and adhere to company standards, policies and procedures
Organize daily housekeeping activities by preparing weekly schedules and logistics for all staff.
Develop and implement housekeeping rules and standards for staff while communicating expectations to our owners and guests
Oversee inventory and ordering of all guest cleaning supplies and linens
Work with management to develop annual budgets while controlling costs and maximizing revenue opportunities
Schedule and conduct inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
Coordinate with the Reservations teams and Maintenance staff to better assist our owners and guests with escalated needs and concerns
Assist owners with remodels, upgrades, and general upkeep of their homes
Occasional need to perform housekeeping and maintenance duties
Prepare, review and submit housekeeping employee payroll
Bill for corresponding housekeeping to the appropriate party

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail
Technical computer skills required
Availability to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as needed
Experience managing a team of employees
Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
Highly responsive and reliable
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
Spanish & English language necessary
