Maintenance Technician with Housing

Vail Management Company is a full-service property management company. We are a locally owned and operated management company with the same owner for 30+ years. We manage HOAs, buildings, short term rentals and long term rentals throughout the Vail Valley.

We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to start immediately (HOUSING AVAILABLE if needed). Must be reliable with a keen eye for detail. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Our maintenance team manages the maintenance of our HOA buildings and rentals (which include condos, townhomes, duplex and single family homes).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ideal candidate will have knowledge of TV/cable, basic plumbing and electrical. Must be a hard worker and team player.
Basic carpentry, drywall and painting is a plus.
Fluent English is mandatory, with professional appearance in front of guests and clientele.
Manage repair and maintenance projects and building improvements by effectively coordinating and planning all tasks.
Maintain flexible hours due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; will be on-call for maintenance emergencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Must be detail oriented, organized, professional, have an ability to work under pressure, be accountable and flexible
Customer service driven in dealing with clients, guests, vendors and employees
Valid Driver’s License and car – required
Maintenance experience with hotels, rentals and/or HOAs – preferred
Basic set of tools is a plus.
