Vail Management Company is looking for a strong individual who is competent, energetic, and highly skilled in communications and people management to join our team as Owner Relations & Reservations Manager. You will be joining a growing property management company rooted in Vail, CO and be an integral part of the reservations team that oversees our luxury vacation rental portfolio. This person will be the main point of contact for our owners and is expected to build and maintain strong relationships as measured by retention, profitability, and guest and owner satisfaction. You will educate new and prospective owners on our expertise, experience, and unique turnkey property management solution. Successful candidates will be strong communicators who are comfortable contacting leads over the phone, in-person or via video conference, can learn and adapt quickly, self-motivated, reliable, and coachable.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with teams to identify lead generation strategies and opportunities for growth of our vacation rentals portfolio

· Maintain networks with local real estate agents and other potential sources within the vacation rental industry, drafting customized letters to potential clients, managing leads, meeting with prospective clients, closing sales, representing Vail Management in a professional and collaborative manner

· Collaborate on marketing materials to be sent to new owners, guests, real estate agents, etc.

· Create, manage, and monitor guest reservations received through direct web bookings and third-party channels with our booking software

· Provide highest level of guest service when fulfilling reservations and guest inquiries

· Act as the liaison between owners and guests with our internal departments to escalate needs and concerns in a timely manner to ensure highest level of satisfaction

· Conduct regular home inspections prior to owner arrivals and coordinate all owner needs for their property, rental goals and expectations with internal departments and staff

· Handle email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings

Qualifications

· Required knowledge of the vacation rental industry and the ability to act as a consultant to homeowners by initiating long term relationships with clients

· Technical computer skills working with Microsoft applications required. Experience in guest reservation and property management software. Escapia experience a plus.

· Ability to generate sales opportunities and build trust with prospects over the phone, work with other team members, and close sales

· Must be able to develop confidence with prospects and become an industry knowledgeable expert

· Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while having the willingness to seek guidance and direction as needed

· Highly responsive and reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

· Organized with a strong attention to detail

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work well in a team environment

· Hospitality, front desk, sales, real estate, or property management experience a plus but not required

· Ability to work on Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed
