Marketing Assistant

The VRD Marketing Department is looking for a creative individual with an interest in marketing including photography, video, social media and writing. Experience in these fields is preferred, but not required. Assist with Vail Recreation District marketing projects including, but not limited to: taking photos and videos at races and special events; editing and posting photos; creating social media content; writing Constant Contact emails; making website updates; and more duties as assigned. Flexible schedule is possible but working hours include some weekdays, plus some evenings and weekends during special events.
Job Status: Year-round. Part-time from mid-Sept. through April (average 10-20 hours per week) and full-time from May through early Sept. (average 30-40 hours per week). We can work around school schedules for the right applicant.
