Mountain Careers Selected for Camber Outdoors Pitchfest 2017

Boulder, CO—June 8, 2017:

Mountain Careers was selected for Camber Outdoors Pitchfest 2017 and is headed to Salt Lake City! Camber Outdoors, the active-outdoor industries organization that works to elevate and accelerate women’s leadership and participation in the outdoors, is excited to announce the finalists for Pitchfest 2017, which will be held on July 25th at Petzl in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Celebrating its third year, Camber Outdoors Pitchfest drives innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among women with a passion for the outdoors. Women-led small businesses apply to showcase their work and growth plans to some of the industry’s most influential CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders.

“Pitchfest gives women entrepreneurs the visibility and platform to bring their fresh thinking, innovative, ideas, and passion for the outdoors to market,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “We’re excited to see what our 2017 finalists will bring to this year’s event—and to our industries—this July.”

  • Bruce Rosard, travel industry strategist, entrepreneur and startup mentor
  • Todd Stockbauer, entrepreneur, investor, startup consultant, and outdoor industry expert.

Pitchfest is funded in part by the REI Foundation’s Mary Anderson Legacy Grant, and this year’s event will be sponsored by Backcountry and Perkins Coie. The event will be live streamed through a partnership with Brandlive.
