Co-working is a popular addition to mountain towns as more professionals look to balance their career and stay in the mountains they love so much! Co-working provides a place for people to learn new skills and collaborate with other professionals who share the same values.  It can also be a way to invite in the vacationers and add to the experience.  Glassdoor career site shared that two-thirds of professionals report working on vacation (Source: Parker (2017)).  Co-working can be a hub for these people to connect with the local community while getting a few important things done.

Communities such as Telluride (Telluride Venture Accelerator and Proximity Co-working), Ketchum (Ketchum Innovation Center), Mammoth (The Fort co-working on mountain in partnership with the resort),  Jackson (Silicon Couloir and Spark Co-working), Summit (ELEVATE Co-space and EVO3) and Eagle County (Vail Centre, Basecamp, Eagle Co-working space, 8150 High Altitude Entrepreneurs) have all seen success.
