Tap into the network! Mountain Careers and ELEVATE Co-Space are partnering with Broken Compass Brewery to host a Speed Networking Event on Oct. 11. Forget your boring old networking, this event will be fun, fast and focused and the best networkers will be given prizes from Broken Compass Brewery. Plus, career pros will be on hand from Mountain Careers to answer career questions and keep us on point.
Everyone is welcome! The event is for anyone looking to make new contacts, develop their professional skills, meet like-minded people and connect with the summit county professional community.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Broken Compass, so arrive on-time to grab a beer before the networking gets started at 6pm and will be done with prizes and beers in hand by 7pm.
Why is networking so important? Networking is one of the most important aspects to career growth– whether you are preparing for your next opportunity, looking for employees or partnerships for your business or just hoping to grow in your existing job. Mountain Careers knows that ‘networking can be intimidating and that it is so valuable in our small mountain communities. We hope that by hosting these events in we can get young professionals as well as those established in the community to come together in a welcoming place to create opportunity and help grow our next leaders. We add structure to the event, provide simple questions and ensure no one is left standing alone or just talking to the same people’.
