Location: Berry Creek Middle School
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (35 hours/week)
Hiring Hourly Rate: $19.72 – $23.66

What You’ll Do:

• Support students with disabilities in general education and resource classrooms
• Assist with academic instruction, behavior supports, and personal care needs
• Help implement IEP goals and collaborate with therapists and teachers
• Provide 1:1 or small group support, adapting materials and lessons
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
• Assist with classroom prep, materials, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• This role may include support for medical, communication, or behavioral needs. All training (such as Safety Care or assistive technology) is provided.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Strong communication, flexibility, and a student-centered mindset
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
• Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support
• A desire to learn and grow alongside experienced staff
• Must meet “Highly Qualified” status per the No Child Left Behind Act
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred but not required:

• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
