Soccer Programs Manager

Salary: $57,500 to $63,000 based on experience

The Soccer Programs Manager will oversee all YouthPower365s Elementary, Middle and COPA Soccer programming. This involves logistical and operations management, scheduling and hiring, staff and caregiver training, and program development and evaluation. The manager will collaborate with community partners and assist with budgeting and expenses. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Youth Development. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the Elementary, Middle School and COPA soccer programs.
  • Schedule games, practices.
  • Supervise the part-time soccer coordinator and program interns.
  • Communication and support for coaches and schools.
  • Must be willing to travel across the Valley, from Gypsum to Eagle Vail.
  • Coach or assist in in the soccer programs as needed.
  • Encourage youth participation in their academic, social emotional and behavioral health.
  • Be an active leader an continue a positive culture with a solid working team.
  • Be available in the afternoons, evenings, weekend, and on Sundays throughout the summer.

Community Engagement and Partnerships:

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and resources.
  • Actively engage families and provide regular communication regarding program updates, events, and student progress.
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with external organizations to expand and fund the program.

Administrative:

  • Provide onsite support for programs, including coach substitution, transportation, etc.
  • Schedule and support student/family registration for programs.
  • Work with other YP staff to align efforts and enhance quality.
  • Coordinate marketing requests.
  • Support other programs and Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofits, education, and/or positive youth development.
  • A minimum of 2 years coordinating youth programs.
  • Experience and passion for working with youth and families.
  • Familiarity with YouthPower365 and our local community.
  • Strong project management skills and experience.
  • Extremely detail oriented and team-oriented.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and online databases
  • Candidates must be qualified and able to drive the YP van for programs.
  • Candidates must pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with middle school students preferred.
  • Experience with soccer as a sport.
  • Fluent in Spanish, reading, writing and conversational.
