Experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper- Ski and Binding Manufacturer

Bishop Telemark is a small, independent team in Edwards, CO, where we design and build badass telemark skis and bindings and ship them to skiers all over the world. We’re looking for a sharp, dependable bookkeeper to own our day-to-day finances and keep the numbers accurate, current, and closed on time every month.

This is a part-time role, about 8 to 12 hours a week, with heavier hours during month-end close. Most of the work happens on-site at our Edwards shop, with some reporting and data entry you can do remotely. A great fit for an experienced bookkeeper who wants steady, meaningful hours without a full-time commitment.

What You’ll Do:

• Enter, code, and pay vendor bills weekly, and keep past-due bills at zero.
• Apply customer and dealer payments and follow up on past-due wholesale accounts.
• Sync Shopify payouts into QuickBooks through Webgility and keep the Shopify clearing account reconciled.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and close the books by the 5th of each month.
• Prepare and file Colorado state and local sales tax returns.
• Pull together weekly financial metrics for our leadership meetings and help get year-end records ready for our CPA.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally with a small manufacturer or product company.
• Strong QuickBooks Desktop skills, including inventory items and assemblies.
• Comfortable running month-end close and reconciliations on your own.
• E-commerce accounting experience (Shopify payouts, fees, refunds). Webgility or A2X experience is a big plus.
• Detail-oriented and organized. You notice when a number looks off and you dig in to find out why.
• A clear communicator who flags problems early.
• Local to the Vail Valley and able to work on-site in Edwards on a regular weekly schedule.
• Bonus points if you ski, or at least get why people are so fired up about telemark gear.

Pay: $32 to $38/hour, depending on experience.
