Position Summary:
The Reservations Agent is accountable for delivering the “first touch” for our Guests.  Whether fielding an inbound call, working with a hotel concierge, or speaking with a Guest about a swap-out, the Reservations Agent must consistently deliver Black Tie levels of service.  The Agent will also work with our Ski Techs to ensure they have the information they need so that their delivery process can run flawlessly. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a respectful and professional representative of Black Tie within the community when interacting with hotel staff and local partners.   
• Actively demonstrate a clear focus on safety for yourself, your co-workers and our Guests, whether working with our equipment and our vehicles, or double-checking Guest ski/boot fittings. 
• Answering phones and returning voicemails. 
• Booking phone reservations from both repeat and new Black Tie guests.  
• Effectively explaining and selling service offering (what we do and the equipment we carry).  
• Maintain a solid understanding of the equipment we carry, and the best type of equipment for different types of skiers and riders. 
• Importing & processing online reservations from website. 
• Entering & scheduling Tour Operator reservations. 
• Entering delivery information and filing completed paperwork. 
• Helping to maintain cleanliness and organization of office space.  
• Dispatching ski technicians using radios to accomplish new deliveries, equipment pick-ups and equipment switch-outs in a timely manner.   
• Act as a liaison between Black Tie Guest and Ski Techs when adjustments are being made to delivery, switch-out or return.   
• Alongside management, see that daily shift responsibilities are being collectively handled by the team on time and at Black Tie’s expected level of Guest Service: Daily Deliveries; Daily Returns; Equipment Requests.  
• Always set the next shift up for success and communicate in detail with fellow Reservations Agents.   
• Provide excellent customer service and the best possible experience for all Black Tie guests. 
• Be proactive and take ownership of situations while anticipating and responding to customer needs and wants.  
• Having a team player, self-starting mentality and promoting these shared values alongside your fellow employees.   
  Requirements: 
• This is an hourly position, typically scheduled for 40hrs/week, and is eligible for hours over 40.     
• Scheduled shifts are 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, and 2pm-10pm. 7 days per week  
• This position will be scheduled 5 days a week but is willing to remain flexible during peak days or short-staffed periods and times to work extra hours and pick up extra shifts. 
• Possesses strong computer & phone skills.  
• Must be able to sit almost continually during your shift. However, we encourage you to move around the office frequently throughout the day. 
• Able to work through winter season and during holiday periods. 
   
   
   
  Shifts: 
• Shift Types: AM shift is from 7am-3pm. Mid-day shift is 9am-5pm. PM Shift is from 2pm-10pm.
