People Services (HR) Generalist

The People Services (Human Resources) Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the People Services departments in both Snowmass and Vail locations for the CoralTree Residence Collection in Colorado. Snowmass, Colorado will be the primary work location for this position.  Duties include talent acquisition, onboarding process including new hire paperwork and data entry, enforcing employment and safety policies, assisting with payroll duties, and managing the employee housing program.

Talent Acquisition responsibilities for the full collection of properties:

  • Work with hiring managers on staffing needs and identify vacancies and hiring needs.
  • Develop job descriptions and post positions in recruiting platform.
  • Strategically advertise internally and externally, using local job boards when advantageous.
  • Manage the recruiting budget.
  • Maintain a current staffing guide / labor management system for full collection of properties.
  • Review and screen applicants with hiring manager.
  • Confirm background check is completed and hiring manager has completed reference checks for final candidate.
  • Issue offer letters and move candidates to hired in UKG.
  • Help with new hire paperwork in Snowmass and perform audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with employee grievances and other employee-relations matters as needed; enlist the Assistant PS Director and Area PS Director as needed and when disciplinary action is required.
  • Manage the Employee Housing Program in Snowmass including application and waitlist process, guidelines and expectations, walk-throughs and inspections, maintaining leases, and assist with tenant challenges or grievances as required.
  • Help with maintaining digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance.
  • Assist with the payroll closing process including timecard accuracy, communication with managers, entering additional earnings, auditing payroll reports, and filtering payroll questions and inquiries from team members.
  • Assist with employee engagement plans and initiating activities and events; spearhead initiatives such as WOW Recognition Program, monthly MVP, birthday and tenure celebrations.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador for CoralTree Hospitality and help create a team and work culture that embodies our company values.

Wage Information:

The starting salary for this position is $60,000 annually. Actual pay will commensurate with experience.
 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline is preferred.
  • One year minimum HR/People Services related experience required.
  • Previous hospitality or guest service experience is preferred.
