Sugar Lips Mini Donuts is a small, locally loved donut and coffee shop serving tourists and locals at a Colorado ski resort. We’re a tight-knit team with a big personality — and we’re growing. 

The Opportunity

We’re not just looking for someone to fill a role — we’re looking for the right person to grow with us. As Assistant Manager, you’ll be learning the business from the ground up: operations, customer experience, team management, inventory, and more. If you’ve ever thought about running your own business someday, this is the kind of hands-on experience that will actually teach you how. We’ll invest in training you — all we ask is that you show up ready to learn, lead, and problem-solve.

What You’ll Do 

• Support daily operations — opening/closing, prep, service, and team coordination
• Step in to lead the team when the owner is off-site
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  Identify problems before they become problems, and solve them on the fly
• Contribute ideas that make the business run better and the customer experience shine
• Learn every aspect of the business so you’re ready for more responsibility over time

What We’re Looking For

• A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what needs doing
  Someone with a natural curiosity about how businesses work
• A problem-solver who stays calm and creative when things get busy
• Strong communicator — with the team and with customers
• Prior food service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — we care more about attitude and drive than your resume
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you think like an owner, not just an employee
