Compliance Coordinator  Cordillera is a unique residential community in a natural setting that truly exemplifies the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado. One of the primary goals in the planning and development of Cordillera is the preservation and enhancement of the landforms, vegetation, and wildlife that characterize this environment. The Cordillera Property Owners Association is responsible for the Divide, Ranch, Summit, and The Territories residential areas within Cordillera Cordillera Property Owners Association is accepting applications for a full-time Compliance Coordinator position. We are looking for an organized and self-motivated team member, with a strong desire to serve and improve the community. The Compliance Coordinator works directly with homeowners, contractors, and builders to maintain a clean, safe, and prosperous community. The Compliance Coordinator answers questions regarding construction processes, investigates grievances, and inspects construction sites to ensure compliance with the Association’s governing documents. When violations are discovered, the Compliance Coordinator initiates communication with homeowners or builders, and when necessary, initiates enforcement actions per the Cordillera Design Guidelines to bring the properties into compliance. The working conditions consists of 50% outside on construction sites or driving company provided vehicle and 50% administrative time . The hours are consistent at 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday with Holidays off.

Responsibilities:

  • On-site contact to assist with homeowner compliance and process inquiries
  • Enforce the Association’s Design Guidelines and By-laws
  • Perform daily construction site visits within the community and document violations
  • Attend pre-construction meetings with homeowners and contractors
  • Complete compliance visits for minor modifications and construction projects
  • Provide DRB and General Manager with compliance fee tracking report, active construction report, buildout status, Improvement Location Certificates, and construction schedules
  • Coordinate with Public Safety on status of construction and builders
  • Foster relationships with homeowners, builders and contractors creating an environment of transparency, communication, and commitment to the Community’s Design Guidelines

Skills:

  • General construction or construction administration experience
  • Ability to read architectural drawings is strongly preferred
  • Prior residential building experience is strongly preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Valid Driver’s License
