$2500 Bonus: $1500 sign-on bonus and $1000 retention bonus, paid out after 6 months of work.

Schedule: Friday-Monday or Saturday-Tuesday (6am-4:30pm or 7am-5:30pm). Flexible work arrangement.

The Airport Electrician engages in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of high and low-voltage electrical, constant current, communications, and electronic systems; acts as a lead for projects as assigned and oversees regulatory requirements for electrical permitting and regulatory compliance. Participates in various maintenance-related tasks for the Eagle County Regional Airport and keeps the facilities and grounds in clean and safe conditions.

The Airport Master Electrician does all of the above and may ALSO work with apprentice and journey-level electricians throughout the county for career advancement.

Qualifications: Non-Journeyman Electrician

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:

  • Preferred EducationEducation/Certification/Completion from a technical school, college, or university in an electrical field.
  • Preferred Work ExperienceAirfield Lighting Maintenance training and/or Airfield Electronics training
  • Minimum LicensurePossess a valid Driver’s License, or ability to obtain within 60 days, with a satisfactory motor vehicle record without restrictions.
  • Preferred LicensureClass B Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 1 year.
