ReStore Sales Associate

Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley ReStore is accepting applications for a Sales Associate at our new store in Gypsum, Colorado. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are available. Responsibilities include operating the store register, greeting and helping customers, moving furniture and keeping the sales areas clean and safe.   

Other duties in a supporting role include: pricing items, moving furniture, opening and closing the store, tracking and reporting sales data and guiding volunteers. Days worked will be between Tuesday and Saturday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Applicants need to be able to lift at least 75 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and spend a majority of the day standing or moving about the ReStore. 

We are looking for applicants with excellent customer service skills who possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment.  Desired qualifications include previous customer service and cashier experience, basic computer skills, and well-developed interpersonal and professional communication skills. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus! 
 
The salary range for this position is $18 – $22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits offered include free health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan with 6% employer match, up to 6 weeks of vacation, holiday, and sick time, paid medical leave and more.
