Kahilla is currently seeking an experienced, organized, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join the content team in pre-and post-production.

You will be part of a diverse and growing programming team focused on delivering elevated production of leadership development coaching. You would be working in a “full-stack” capacity on content development, pre-, and post-production, all in-house. We focus on innovation and organization, stretching what we’re doing creatively while being extremely detail-oriented and producing the highest quality content.

This is a part-time position for approximately 20 hours per week.  

SCOPE OF WORK

Pre-production 

  • Collaborate closely with:
  • Executive coaches to elevate and enhance their programming as well as develop class offerings according to Kahilla’s programming guidelines
    Director of Programming and Director of Marketing and Community to align and deliver on strategic content goals and operations to coordinate scheduling and logistics 
  • Make strategic programming decisions using both quantitative data and qualitative considerations.

Live production

  • Manage virtual control room for live broadcast elements
  • Supervise and manage music for intros, outros, and working time from Kahilla playlist offerings.
  • Review and participate in coaches’ classes and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Moderate audience questions as needed

Post-production

  • Edit/adjust content so that it is suitable for on-demand (in full and edited into smaller segments)
  • Create clips for social media (Instagram & LinkedIn)
    Work closely with our programming and content producers team to ensure that the vision of each project is captured and conveyed and production & post-work all go out on time
  • Responsible for overall syndication of content: from short-form to long-form on a variety of platforms
  • Make selects for images or thumbnails from the broadcast, edit photos in various formats for syndication, mobile and digital platforms.

ABOUT YOU

  • 6+ years of experience in video editing.
  • Familiarity with live streaming and various formats on Zoom and Vimeo
  • Excellent digital media file management 
  • Required knowledge base: Adobe Premiere Pro, audio recording & mixing camera, and audio equipment, HD & 4k workflows. Intimate knowledge of codecs and best practices when exporting for Streaming Platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop preferred.
  • Highly skilled in color grading via Adobe Premiere
  • Experience in fast-paced, tight deadline, production environment
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Confidence, clear communication skills, and a positive attitude

  • Ability to multitask, choreograph, prioritize & manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, on high stake projects that may include tight deadlines and last-minute requests. 
  • Experience developing and managing post-production workflow
