The Community Engagement Manager is a full-time leadership position responsible for developing, facilitating, and overseeing Community Programming, school-based programming, and a drop-in center. This position requires skills and knowledge in program and curriculum development, advocacy, training, and administrative support. Additionally, the role demands strategic planning, team leadership, and community advocacy to advance the organization’s mission.

Resource Navigation (8-10 hours)

Lead the engagement with the LGBTQ+ community to understand their unique needs and challenges.
Establish and maintain partnerships with organizations, businesses, and community leaders to enhance resource availability.
Facilitate bi-weekly peer support groups.
Guide community members to relevant resources, including health services, peer support groups, behavioral health services, and community assistance.
Community Engagement (10-20 Hours):

Strategically plan and oversee all community-building events.
Plan and oversee bi-monthly Community GSA Meetings.
Facilitate all youth in school and social events including overseeing drop-in center hours.
Coordinate all relevant community partner outreach events.
Conduct surveys and focus groups to understand community interests and needs, and develop action plans based on the findings.
Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for community engagement.
Administrative (8-10 Hours):

Develop and monitor the performance metrics for community engagement programs, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness as well as adherence to approved budgets.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to align community engagement activities with the organization’s strategic goals.
Complete various monthly reports and program plans
Special Requirements

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and live in Colorado.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $70,000. The compensation package includes health and dental benefits, and 10 days vacation. Range is determined within the stated range by merit; seniority; production rate and/or quality; geographic location; education, training, and/or experience related to job duties and responsibilities.
