Long Range Senior Planner, Community Development

Join the Pitkin County Community Development team as we expand our long range planning staff. The County is in the midst of evaluating the impacts of growth and development on our community and our climate. The long range planning staff will play a critical role in formulating, amending and implementing comprehensive and master plans, land use policies and regulations to achieve our climate action goals while creating an equitable, sustainable and resilient regional quality of life and economy for the future. The Long Range Senior Planner will report to the Long Range Planning Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, experience in data analysis and interpretation, project management, and public outreach and engagement.
