Software Specialist – Hospitality

The Job:

Software Specialists at RDP hold a variety of responsibilities including: day to day customer service/support, troubleshooting customer software issues, new customer implementations, training, and more. The person in this position provides status updates to stakeholders on projects and technical issues. This is a multi-dimensional job requiring self-motivation in a constantly changing environment. Growth opportunities include senior specialist positions, sales, and software development.

Job Duties
Working with customers to address and solve software related problems or questions
Training customers on RDP software
Installing software upgrades and optional system enhancements
Owning open tickets/bugs that must be solved
Solving problems using critical thinking
Handling difficult customers with grace and patience
Creating knowledge-based articles and technical documents
Participate in On-Call rotation
 

Primary Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Travel to customer sites to implement software systems
• Proven ability to manage small to medium sized projects
• Hospitality Experience
• Quick learner, great attitude, team player

Strongly Preferred:

• Crystal Reports
• SQL
• Microsoft Product Suite
• Customer Service Experience

• Compensation: $50K – $60K DOE
• Location: Edwards / Hybrid / Remote
