Recreation, Sports Program Attendant I-II

The Sports Program Attendant I and II are responsible for leading, coordinating and monitoring athletic programs hosted by the Town of Avon Recreation Department while maintaining standards of play and ensuring that rules are being observed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed is primarily indoors at the Avon Recreation Center, within the Avon Elementary School gymnasium area and occasionally outdoor venues. Will be required to regularly talk, hear, sit, and stand, for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds, and at times, objects weighing upwards of 50 pounds. Occasionally requires walking, running, jumping, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
