Integrated Support Services (a division within the Department of Human Services) is responsible for fiscal well-being and oversight for the department in addition to administering Child Support Services and Employment First client programs.

The Integrated Support Services (ISS) Manager is a leadership role overseeing finances, quality assurance, and staff within the Department. This manager ensures accurate financials, compliance, and efficient service delivery across DHS programs. They collaborate effectively, lead by example, and champion continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Management: Overseeing budgets, audits, and financial analysis to maintain fiscal accountability.
  • Team Leadership: Recruiting, retaining, and developing the ISS team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with leadership to set priorities and achieve DHS goals.
  • Communication: Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed through clear and effective communication.
  • Collaboration: Working across DHS divisions to ensure a seamless “no wrong door” approach to service delivery.

You’ll be successful if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience and 4 years in accounting, finance, or administration.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to adapt to change, manage time effectively, and prioritize workload.
