Human Resource Generalists perform complex and diverse HR administrative, technical, analytical and professional work. Incumbents in the position are leaders in supporting and facilitating change, and serve in a variety of HR Management/Development and Organizational Development key roles. In several HR core competency areas of work, HR Generalists facilitate, oversee, manage, supervise, coordinate, collaborate and lead initiatives, programs and policy. HR Generalists perform work in a manner consistent with and exemplary of the Town’s Culture Statement and the Town’s Equal Opportunity Employment policy.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of HR experience with a focus in Talent Acquisition
  • 2 years of Public Sector experience (preferred)
  • Other requirements as deemed necessary

(Minimum Requirements & Preferences)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4+ years of HR experience with a focus in Talent Acquisition.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification desired by not required
  • 2+ years of Public Sector experience (preferred)
  • Other requirements as deemed necessary
